A glass of the good stuff

I try to have a smoothie everyday. I find it is a good way of getting the pure raw goodness of fruit and veg into my body. I use different fruit and veg depending on what I have available and depending on what I fancy on the day. Here is my smoothie I had yesterday...1orange,1apple,1ripe banana, large handful or spinach and an even larger handful of kale (the king of veg in my opinion)
I chopped the banana,cored the apple and sliced it,peeled and remove the seeds from the orange (did this over the blender to catch all the juice) put them in the blender and blended :)
then I added my veg, stopping half way to push the veg down with my spatular to make sure all was getting blended,

adding 1/2pint of water (add more if you want )
and there you have it...my delicious and heathy green smoothie mmmmmm
